In a COVID-19-plagued world, our lives have been radically altered and our tech gadgets and devices have become key components. So we’ve found a couple that you should be saving up for to make your socially distanced life so much better…
If you’re somehow able to afford to buy the latest gadgets and devices in 2021, you’re going to be very happy to know that there are some amazing electronics that have been released recently or are due to be released in the near future. And while we’re staying at home with nothing better to do, why not make life more exciting with some of these awesome products:
Apple iPad Air
If you want a great visual demonstration of what Apple has to offer with their latest release, the iPad Air, I’d recommend visiting their official website. As an Apple fanboy I gotta say it’s just… sexy. It comes in a bunch of colours, including silver, space gray, rose gold, green and blue sky.
But beyond its A14 Bionic processor’s capabilities, which will be enough for any task, even if you edit video in 4K, it’s amazing all-screen design, liquid retina display and the new touch ID functionality built into the power button, the Apple iPad Air has been designed specifically for remote work.
Everyone who worked remotely last year was probably faced with a choice: start a printer at home or go to print documents to the nearest service. iPad Air lets you sign papers right on the screen with a stylus, saving you time, money, and, most importantly, the paper. Some pluses. Add a fingerprint sensor built into the power button, which saves you the trouble of endlessly typing passwords to confirm a particular action (for example, connecting to a virtual machine). And thanks to 4G LTE support, this tool is always online – at home, in the country, on the road, and high-quality cameras (12 and 7 megapixels) allow not only to participate in Zoom conferences but also to shoot and send working documents instantly.
Xbox Series X
The Xbox Series X comes equipped with a new System-on-a-Chip (SOC), Xbox Velocity, AMD Zen 2, and RDNA architectures combine 12 teraflops of processing power, 4K gaming resolution, 8K HDR, up to 120 frames per second, and 3D Spatial Sound to create the most immersive gaming system you could imagine. Even if you’re not a big gamer, it can almost feel like your venturing out into the real world when you turn this bad boy on… with no loading time!
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2
Pricey AF, but this device is truly mind-blowing. The bendable screen seems to defy logic. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 supports wireless charging (it has a dual 4,500mAh battery) and is capable of shooting with 4 cameras (wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle, telephoto, and front), among boasting countless other specs that make it once again and top-of-the-range smartphone and surely worth the price.
Apple Watch Series 6
Again, an Apple fanboy will always see it as the superior smartwatch. This bad boy is so advanced that it can monitor the oxygen levels in your blood! In the COVID-19 era… who knows whether a device like this can change your life. What’s for certain though is that the future of healthcare lies in wearable devices like this.
“Your blood oxygen level is a key indicator of your overall wellness,” according to Apple. “It can help you understand how well your body is absorbing oxygen, and the amount of oxygen delivered to your body. The remarkable new sensor and app in Apple Watch Series 6 allow you to take on-demand readings of your blood oxygen as well as background readings, day and night.”
JBL Club One
Club ONE’s flagship line of full-size wireless earbuds is a collection of JBL’s best technologies, the best of True Adaptive Noise Canceling technology analyses ambient noise and adapts to it 50,000 times per second. It also considers other factors, like whether you wear glasses, the kind of hairstyle you have, and even how your head is tilted at the moment.
They operate at a frequency range of 10 Hz to 40 kHz reaches the goal in its best quality (headphones are certified for listening to Hi-Res sound) and is made of a membrane made of light and durable graphene. JBL Club ONE also has Persona-Fi sound personalisation technology
So if you’re looking to splash the cash on new gadgets in 2021, you simply cannot go wrong with any of these magical devices. But for the rest of us, we’ll just have to power on with our old iPhones and analogue watches and go green with envy.
