Trump Pardons Lil Wayne, Steve Bannon & 71 Others On Final Day In Office – Joe Exotic Misses Out

On his final day in office as President of the United States, Donald Trump issued 73 presidential pardons which has saved rapper, Lil Wayne, from a potential 10-year prison sentence over a gun charge. Former strategist Steve Bannon was also pardoned for his role in an effort to defraud millions of Trump voters into paying for the US-Mexico border wall.
“Steve Bannon is getting a pardon from Trump after defrauding Trump’s own supporters into paying for a wall that Trump promised Mexico would pay for. And if that all sounds crazy, that’s because it is. Thank God we have only 12 more hours of this den of thieves.”

Ramaphosa Says 2021 Will Be A “Game-changer” For BEE In SA

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has said that the country’s economic recovery in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic can be a game-changer for economically disenfranchised black South Africans
“We now need to go deeper into exactly what makes the economy work and function, and the participation of black people in all areas of economic activity.
“We will then see how best we can get black people to participate. This is the year that we should be able to do that and move the needle of economic empowerment for women, young people and black people broadly.
“We need to be able to say in a few years time that the empowerment of our people is now becoming a reality.”

9 Arrested In Cape Town For R600k Illegal Alcohol Operation

Nine people have been arrested for their role in an illegal liquor trading operation in Cape Town. More than R600,000 worth of alcohol has been seized by the SAPS.
“Liquor worth an estimated R640 000 in Airport Industria, Cape Town on 19/01. 9 Suspects aged between 26 and 55 were arrested. All arrested suspects are expected to appear in the Bishop Lavis court today.”
